Realmark is the first agency in Western Australia to bring the traditional Auction process into the digital age.

Developed in Australia, this groundbreaking technology allows agents to electronically record bids which are made instantly available to buyers and sellers anywhere in the world with the option of 10 common currencies.

This new innovation is already proving to be appealing to buyers and sellers in Perth with several Realmark Livebid auctions held in February, including one last weekend which saw a 1950s home on a 980 square metre block in south Carine sold for $875,000 with nine bids in seven minutes.

Realmark Managing Director, John Percudani, said Livebid will revolutionise auctions by streamlining the sales process for buyers, sellers and agents – regardless of their location or time zone.

“As a ‘smart agency’ at the forefront of innovation in real estate, Realmark is excited to be the first agency in Western Australia to bring this game-changing technology to the market, and bring this traditional sales method into the 21st century,” Mr. Percudani said.

“We recognise that buyers and sellers are more mobile today and Livebid will enable our agents in WA to offer clients a more effective, convenient and transparent way to buy and sell property – whether they’re in Perth, interstate or overseas.”

As one of Perth’s leading auction agencies, Realmark is a strong advocate of the auction sales method, which continues to increase in popularity in WA.

“The auction sales method has been around for decades and continues to effectively generate fair competition between buyers and sellers,” Mr. Percudani said
“Realmark continues to see year-on-year growth of auction uptake and clearance. We expect this number to continue to rise as buyers, sellers and agents become more confident in the auction process, and Livebid will certainly add to that in 2018.”

Respected auctioneer, auction coach and Australian real estate industry expert, Ross Hunter, echoed Mr. Percudani’s sentiments.

Over his 30 year career, Mr. Hunter has called almost 7,000 auctions in Australia and New Zealand – including most Realmark auctions in WA – and believes Livebid will provide excellent results and greater peace of mind for buyers, sellers, and agents.

“There are many moving parts to an auction and it can be an overwhelming and stressful experience for buyers and sellers, as well as a very labour and communications-intensive process for agents,” Mr. Hunter said.

“Livebid alleviates these issues and preserves the integrity of the auction process by providing buyers and sellers with instantaneous information to support their decision making while freeing up the agent so they can ensure the auction is executed to the highest standard.”

Livebid will be fully integrated with Realmark’s CRM system and website and will be available for all Realmark Auctions.
