Raised in the City of Melville and City of Canning, and now a proud Melville resident, Gary has strong roots in the local community. A graduate of Rossmoyne Primary and Senior High School, he went on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Property at Curtin University, where he later returned as a guest lecturer in property (2010–2013).

Gary’s career has been recognised with industry accolades, including being named the “Most Accurate Valuer” in the residential department at Quantia Valuations (now Opteon Solutions) in 2008.
