Realmark embracing AI while maintaining authenticity
Realmark’s communications and creative teams are not shying away from adapting AI technology to increase its productivity and capacity.

Excitement, hype and fear about the possibilities of AI platforms has swept the globe in 2023, as more and more people and businesses utilise the services of popular platforms such as Chat GPT to speed up and improve their output.

But the possibilities go beyond copywriting and Realmark, known for its innovation in the tech and marketing space, is embracing the possibilities.

While some news reports suggest AI could make his role obsolete, Realmark’s creative designer Mat Bernasconi has taken a proactive approach to embracing the technology to become an expert and early adapter in the space.

“Through a recently released beta version of Adobe Photoshop, I can now make changes to graphics and images in minutes by using word commands. With text-to-image software like Stable Diffusion, high-quality original artwork is only a sentence away, with no technical graphic design skills required,” he said.

“Despite the ease at which edits can now be made with the right AI software, it’s crucial we respect our customers and maintain integrity through honesty and authentic marketing material. This will always remain a priority at Realmark.

“While I believe staying on top of platforms like these is only going to allow me to provide an enhanced experience service, in the end, applying creativity to strategy is a human skill and we’re open to embracing whatever technology is available to improve our performance.”

Mr Bernasconi recently delivered an eye-opening presentation to Realmark’s Leederville based businesses on the power of AI, and the speed to which it’s being adapted by major tech players such as Adobe and Microsoft.

Team members across the Realmark organisation have been using AI to assist with copywriting – a process encouraged by GM of Operations, Wade Dobson.

“My advice to copywriters is to skillfully use AI as part of your writing process. Use it for research, use it for quick drafts and use it to check your grammar, spelling and improve flow,” he said.

“However, to maintain authenticity and a personal voice in content its crucial to tweak and re-edit, while fact checking everything is a must.”

Like in most sectors, AI has the potential to make serious waves in the real estate industry and transforming the way properties are bought, sold, and managed.

AI algorithms can analyse vast amounts of data, including property listings, market trends, demographics, and customer preferences, to provide more accurate property recommendations and personalised experiences for buyers.

It can enable real estate agents to optimise pricing strategies based on historical data and market trends, helping sellers position their properties competitively.

AI-powered automation can help streamline property management tasks, such as maintenance scheduling and rent collection, improving efficiency and freeing up time for more personalised customer interactions.

With AI's ability to process and analyse data at scale, the real estate industry can leverage this technology to enhance operational efficiency and deliver an enhanced experience, and Realmark is ready to ride the wave.
