The last remaining tenancy at the centre, which is set to launch on 1 July, has been secured up by US clothing brand Volcom.
It's the first time a shopping centre in Australia has been fully leased prior to its opening in five years, with Realmark Commercial responsible for the leasing.
"This marks the first time in five years that a shopping centre in Australia has achieved full occupancy prior to its opening date," says Sales and Leasing Director at Realmark Commercial, Michael Richardson.
"We are honored to have played a key role in the leasing process, and are excited to bring an exceptional shopping experience to the community with a diverse range of renowned brands."
More than 50 big-name retailers will be on offer for shoppers at the centre across a total of 15,000sq m of retail space, along with a food court and close to 600 car parks.
Volcom joins Strandbags, Cotton On Mega, Supre, Ally Fashion and You + All as other retailers to open stores at DOC, which has previously announced dozens of other tenants including Puma, Timberland, Sketchers and Kathmandu.
Other brands set to open in the centre include Rip Curl, Hype DC, New Balance, Fila, Rivers, Catalog and Novo.
DOC is Adelaide’s only undercover discount outlet centre, providing a similar offering to DFO Perth at the Perth Airport.
Realmark Commercial is proud to have teamed up with Devwest to curate an exceptional shopping experience at DOC, bringing shoppers an exciting lineup of brands.
Devwest Group Executive Director Damon Ferguson, who’s overseeing the project, said the countdown is on to opening day.
“There’s a real air of anticipation inside District with the retailers finalising their fit outs and stocking their shelves ready to welcome the thousands of shoppers we’re expecting to come down on opening day,” he said.
District’s new Centre Manager, Melinda Fremlin, said there will be exclusive discounts and giveaways on opening weekend in a fortnight.
