Realmark Urban has an opening for a part-time receptionist to join our friendly team at our Leederville headquarters, working Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

About the role

We are looking for a professional and experienced receptionist for our Leederville office. As the most visible, forward-facing position at Realmark’s headquarters in Leederville, the primary responsibility is to provide outstanding experience to Realmark’s customers, clients and team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Handle incoming calls to Realmark’s Leederville-based businesses.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as signing in and out of keys for properties.
  • Primary liaison for tenancy contractors.
  • Meeting room management; bookings and presentation.
  • Oversee maintenance of office facilities.
  • Ensure office is well-presented at all times.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and company collateral.
  • In-house training co-ordination.
  • Co-ordinate reception cover timetables, provide adequate training to reception cover.
  • Events assistance.
  • Provide general administrative support to Leederville-based Realmark businesses.

    • Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in maintaining the office appearance, setting up meeting rooms, and managing administrative tasks.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for interacting with colleagues, clients, and guests. 
    • Technology Proficiency: Competence in using basic office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, is important. Knowledge of office equipment and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues can be valuable.
    • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities, especially during events or unexpected situations, is critical in this role.
    • Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues independently or escalate them to the appropriate party is highly valuable. 
    • Team Player: Being able to work collaboratively with colleagues and support various departments is essential for success in this role.
    • Confidentiality: Understanding the importance of handling sensitive information and maintaining the confidentiality of business matters is critical
    • Real Estate Experience: While not essential, industry experience is desirable.

    The successful candidate will be willing to learn new skills to advance their level of support.
