Clarity, Connection and Purpose: Inside the 2025 Realmark Leaders Insight Retreat

Held on Rottnest Island, the 2025 Realmark Leaders Retreat brought together the company’s leadership team for a day of reflection, connection, and forward planning. Designed to encourage collaboration and meaningful conversation, the retreat focused on aligning leaders under a shared vision for 2026 and beyond.

Group Operations Manager, Elizabeth Christou, said the retreat gave leaders the rare opportunity to slow down, connect, and mature ideas together, shaping the next phase of Realmark’s journey collectively rather than individually. “The day was designed to build relationships beyond our usual working circles, strengthen our leadership culture, and align how we think, speak, and act as leaders,” she said.

Ahead of the event, participants completed a discovery exercise reflecting on their business units, team confidence, and leadership aspirations. The findings provided valuable insights into the company’s current position, highlighting both challenges and opportunities across the network.

A highlight of the day was a leadership development session led by Peter Bell, who shared lessons from elite sport and business. “You’ve got to be strong and confident in this industry,” Peter said, urging leaders to apply discipline, empathy, and purpose to their decision-making. His session inspired participants to reflect on their leadership identity, influence, and accountability in driving team performance.

The group also collaborated to define a shared leadership language centred on being authoritative, authentic, and accountable - principles seen as essential to consistent, values-driven leadership across Realmark. The retreat concluded with an action-planning session where each leader identified key initiatives to drive within their teams over the year ahead.

Founder and Managing Director, John Percudani, said the retreat reflected Realmark’s commitment to continuous growth and purposeful leadership: “Strong leadership isn’t about hierarchy, it’s about clarity, connection, and purpose. When our leaders grow together, our entire network moves forward.”

The 2025 Realmark Leaders Retreat marked an important milestone in the company’s ongoing journey of leadership development, a defining moment in shaping what Realmark leadership truly represents: ambitious, authentic, and forward-focused.
