No Strings Attached: Realmark takes on the Central Park Plunge

Some property challenges call for experience. This one calls for a harness, a rope and a willingness to step over the edge of one of Perth’s tallest buildings.

This November, a team from Realmark Commercial and Realmark Urban will take on the Central Park Plunge, abseiling 130 metres down Central Park Tower on St Georges Terrace to raise funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity of WA.

And appropriately, they’re doing it under the team name No Strings Attached.

It started with one brave idea

Realmark Commercial’s Scott Chaproniere was the first to put his hand up for the challenge. It didn’t take long before Natasha Wilkinson, Rebecca Teakle and Sharni Warren followed, bringing together a team spanning Realmark Commercial and Realmark Urban.

On Saturday, 14 November, they’ll trade property for a very different perspective of Perth -  from the outside of Central Park Tower, 130 metres above the ground.

The nerves may be real, but so is the reason behind it.

Taking the plunge for Variety WA

No Strings Attached has set a $5,000 fundraising target, with every contribution supporting Variety WA and its work with children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability.

Variety WA provides practical assistance to children and families across Western Australia, including medical and mobility equipment, technology, sensory items and educational support designed to remove barriers and create greater independence, confidence and opportunity.

The Central Park Plunge has become a significant fixture on Perth’s fundraising calendar. Now in its 11th year, the event has raised $5.2 million since 2015, with participants quite literally going over the edge to support WA charities.

Help No Strings Attached reach $5,000

You don’t need to abseil 130 metres to make a difference.

If you’d like to support Scott, Natasha, Rebecca and Sharni, you can donate directly to the No Strings Attached team fundraising page. Every donation, large or small, will help move the team closer to its $5,000 goal while supporting Variety WA to make a meaningful difference for children and families across the state.

Support No Strings Attached and donate here.
