Realmark celebrates connection, growth and recognition at REIWA ELEVATE 2026

Last week, members of the Realmark team had the privilege of attending REIWA ELEVATE 2026 at The Westin -  REIWA’s flagship event to support and inspire women in the industry.

At Realmark, great workplaces and strong results are built by supporting people to grow both professionally and personally. Events like ELEVATE offer the chance to step away from the day-to-day, strengthen camaraderie within the team, and engage with broader conversations shaping the future of the profession, which serves as an important part of how Realmark invests in its people, creating space for the team to learn, connect and bring fresh ideas back into the business.

The day featured powerful insights from a range of inspiring leaders. From Carolyn Creswell’s remarkable entrepreneurial journey, to the energising message from Lizzie Williamson, and the bold perspectives shared by Fiona Blayney, each speaker challenged attendees to think differently about leadership, resilience and the impact individuals can have within their organisations and communities.

One of the most meaningful moments of the event was the launch of the Kareena Ballard Achievement Award, recognising an outstanding woman who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the real estate profession in WA. Kareena Ballard’s impact on the profession has been extraordinary - her leadership, generosity and commitment to lifting others have shaped the careers of many across the sector. It was fitting to see her legacy recognised through an award that will continue to celebrate women making a lasting difference in real estate. Congratulations to Ashleigh Goodchild, the inaugural recipient of the award,  a well-deserved recognition.

The Realmark team was also incredibly proud to see several of its own recognised by their peers as finalists, including Anita Percudani, Julie Fairclough and Michelle Ralph.

Throughout the day, several insights resonated strongly with the group. Messages such as “It's okay not to be okay” and the perspective that “you can have it all — just not all at the same time” sparked thoughtful conversations among the team.

For Anita Percudani, Realmark's Co-Founder and Managing Director, one of the most valuable aspects of the event was the opportunity to reconnect as a team.“One of the things I valued most about the day was the opportunity to pause and spend time together as a team. Stepping away from the pace of our day-to-day work gave us space to reflect on the ideas being shared, reconnect, and have meaningful conversations. Moments like this remind us of the importance of showing up for each other - not just in our work, but in supporting one another as we grow in our careers and in our profession.”

Investing in opportunities like ELEVATE matters. When the Realmark team can learn from leaders across the profession, challenge their thinking and return with fresh perspective, it strengthens not only the organisation but also the wider real estate community it is proud to be part of.
