Swan Valley Central reaches full occupancy

Realmark Commercial has completed the final two leases at Swan Valley Central, marking a key milestone for the Herne Hill precinct and welcoming Harvey Cheese as its newest tenant.

The family-owned cheesemaker, based in Wokalup, will open its new retail outlet at 660 Great Northern Highway in November, expanding its reach into Perth’s north-east and bringing a fresh gourmet offering to the Swan Valley.

The new store will feature Harvey Cheese’s award-winning artisan range, including the popular OMG triple cream, alongside house-made butter and ice cream, locally roasted coffee, and gourmet giftware.

The tenancy will also feature St Duke’s Distillery, the brand’s sister venture known for producing spirits distilled from whey, a byproduct of the cheesemaking process - an innovation recently recognised by Wine Business Magazine for its sustainable approach to craft production.

The arrival of Harvey Cheese rounds out the tenancy mix at Swan Valley Central, following the sale of the site by Cambell Giles in June 2025. The precinct now stands fully leased, with a strong line-up of hospitality and retail operators contributing to the Swan Valley’s ongoing appeal as one of Western Australia’s premier food and beverage destinations.

Realmark Commercial Sales & Leasing Executive Cambell Giles said the outcome reflects both the resilience of the region’s retail market and the ongoing appetite for authentic, experience-driven food offerings.

“The Swan Valley continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. Businesses like Harvey Cheese are the perfect fit, they bring genuine craft, local produce and a sense of place that adds real depth to the area’s retail mix,” Mr Giles said. “It’s encouraging to see strong demand from local operators who want to invest in the region’s future, and we’re proud to help connect them with spaces that make that possible.”

With the completion of Swan Valley Central’s final tenancies, Realmark Commercial continues to strengthen its footprint in regional and metropolitan retail leasing, connecting WA’s most established destinations with the next generation of local producers and innovators.
